Description:
The aim of Prosthodontic rehabilitation is to provide the patient with functional and aesthetic restorations. New materials and technologies are continually being developed and introduced into the marketplace. The general practitioner is often faced with the difficult task of deciphering between available products and treatment workflows.
Navigating through the maze of materials can be quite daunting. Understanding when and how to use different ceramics and recognizing appropriate bonding or cementation techniques is critical in achieving successful outcomes.
This presentation will help the clinician navigate through the choices. A concise review of dental ceramics will be provided with specific attention to the difference between bonding and cementation of ceramic and zirconia-based restorations. Preparation guidelines, cementation protocols, indications and contraindications for all ceramic restorations in tooth borne and implant supported restorations will be provided.
The live webinar will cover:
• A comprehensive review of current dental ceramics, impression materials and cements
• Current concepts of cementation vs. Bonding of all ceramic restorations
• Preparation guidelines for partial and full coverage all-ceramic restorations
