Dr. Sally Safa is a board certified Periodontist and a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She received her doctor of dental surgery degree as well as her Masters in Periodontology from the University of Toronto. She also completed a one year dental residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto) where she was trained in management of complex and medically compromised patients.
Dr. Safa is passionate about the field of periodontology and keeps current by regularly attending continuing education seminars as well as sharing this knowledge with her colleagues and other dental professionals. Dr. Safa has a keen interest in soft tissue (gum) and bone grafting as well as implant therapy.
Dr. Safa grew up in North York and now lives here with her husband and two children. She can be found on the ski slopes in the winter months. Dr. Safa is also passionate about Mindfulness and is currently working her way towards a degree in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction).
